My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

luscious abstract, tara my friend, and, taken together with your 400th, one that offers an intriguing insight into your passionate side... well worth the time you devoted to it! next step: resurrect your poetic muse! :)

This alluring passion is dialed into cool, reserved, and aloof. I suspect one needs nutritional supplements to keep up, when it is fully opened from bottom to top.

beautiful, tara, and is this your 400th? I read Michael's comment, if it's 400, well, congratulations a year & a half late! I wanted to write a poem like yours (for my "outside my window" image: ie, in perfect iambic dimeter, 4 beats, all short-long, little quatrains that end where they begin, in the sea), a wonderful offering and very nice description of my picture——but...I take so much time with verse, I'd be posting my comment next tuesday. But this is worth a poem: It's passionate, yet it has some quiet colors; and still you've laced violet in there, and deeper greens & blues; and the petals undulate outwards like flame. Really nice juxtaposition of reflective hues and radiating flame. A fine painting. Yes you definitely should keep doing this, you're a natural at it.
