Some problems with the backlight here, but I wanted to capture the tree exactly from this perspective.

WOW! A wonderful capture. Looks like the tree was injured at some point and has healed itself with the large growth around the lower trunk. Thanks for sharing.

This forest scene is most lovely with such grace and peace. A very different and unique variation of the tree... formation is lovely as is the lighting. If I look at this image long enough, I can almost make out a face... with a little afro going on :) Most lovely composition!
