Description

i took this picture about 2 years ago. it is my cat cheese & hobbes. cheese yawned just as i snapped the photo, and the image always makes me smile. and i need to smile now because we had to put cheese down today. he got sick very suddenly & quickly and was diagnosed with lipodosis of the liver which has a very small success rate and he would have had to go through so many painful proceedures.. so today my husband and i say farewell to a very very good kitty who we will never forget, who we will always love. i'm sorry, i just had to post this. Bye Cheese baby... wizza wooo. I'll always love you honey.

Condolences. We recently had to put one of ours down, too. Came home from work, found her yowling under the bed, paralyzed from the waist back. Blood clot, poor prognosis. I know how you feel and my sympathies go with you (and the surviving cat). Hang in there.

I've been in the same situation myself. I'm so sorry for you. :( Love the kitties in that picture. Yawning kitties always look like they were laughing out loud.

deepest sympathies. We had a mother daughter the mother had a tumor on her belly cancer spread to the lungs. The daughter had to have her eye removed and tissues tested cancer. Im going to lose her too. Dusty is still with me and I can only try to keep her happy and comfortable but when it comes time I know it's going to hurt. Your picture reminds me of the times when we first got them dusty would always curl up with her mother (mitsy) very nervous cat but she came around. When she doesn't hide from her bubble gum flavored meds she's always by my side.

I feel your pain having been in a similar position. The pain will ease in time and Cheese will always live on in your heart.

Hard to say good-by. We had to say that to our dear Pepper this summer. Take care, ~~Russ

I am so sorry you lost your little cat, he was such a handsome boy. He may have gone but he left behind his love in your heart, and happy memories in your mind, which will become stronger as time passes and your smile will wipe away the sad tears of today as you remember those happy days. hugs Jane xx
