Well there is alot of photography mixed, in like one of the eyes and the mouth corners, i also cloned alot of real skin textures using patch tools on multiple layers, The hair it self is real hair with alot of wisp brush strokes behind it to blend it in as well, I hit my mark, but am not hapy with how hard it was in post to bring the realism to it, i need a skin bump that is realistric, but as for the Fur, the same wisp brush i used in the hair creates the effect on the arms, , you just use the liquify tool to bend them into the shape of the arm and start shaving away the edge with layered transparancies. I found a tutorial on that here I think, if not it was in the 3ds forums.

By the way, the only thing i dont like is the nose, i tried to blur it a bit but cant get the "Bulbus" nose morpf to disapear. too much paching and cloning though it isn't eficiant, just obsessive. =)

That´s pretty cool work! I often thought about making more photomanips myself, but I´m unsure if I´d meet the models expectations and about the terms of use.

Hay Basstard, (Dont usualy get to say that) =P Don't ever worry about not getting it right or what a model thinks, because you'll never experiment. Just do it and if you are worried about there expectations, tell them its a test and pay them like $50 For there time, just in case it flops. If your still shy about it start with images from the net, like take a celebrity portrait and turn them into a Whatever. The thing that i find is most time consuming is matching the lighting, once yo get that down you'll find it much easier. As for Terms of use is easy, you get a model release that says for what ever purpose in full or in part and your good. But also you don't need a model release if your not selling the image. Nor do you need one if the image being sold is classifies as "ART" and isn't endorsing a product. you as the artist don't classify as an endorsable product so your good.
