Maybe is time to back some others pics I had in my hard disk...and shoot many more pics of all the subjects I have around.. In this pic was so hard focus the diferent plans you can see in this flower, the strange extension is at front and the stams and also the petals.. I think is a gorgeous flower... what you think about my pic? Hugs.. and thank you for your attention. Luis

Luis, this is wonderful! I am assuming this is from one of the pipe or column cacti because I've seen this bloom before. They are very difficult, as you say, because of the different depth to the flower. You did a really wonderful job with this.

A different image for you, but a beautiful one, Luis. Beautiful rich salmon color. I have never seen a cactus blossom with this 'extension' before, very interesting!

What do I think? I think you have done an absolutely fantastic pic. The focus is spot on Luis, I can see why it would be difficult, with the sticky out bits as Shari points out but also the red. Red for me is one of the most difficult colours to capture, without loosing deffinition in the petals. This is top notch my friend. Bravo!!!!!
