Description

Greetings my friends! I seem to be in the mood to show more of the California coast to non California residents. Fredster66 had mentioned he loves route #1 as I do as well! fortunately I did take some photos as I was traveling to and from Fort Bragg. First 2 photos are on Highway 1 and the last one was taken at the motel I stayed in, in Noyo Harbor. Here is a brief history of Fort Bragg, Californa. Note: I am aware of the Fort Bragg in North Carolina, please do not confuse the two lol! Surrounded by the spectacular natural beauty of Northern California's redwood forests and the Pacific Ocean, Fort Bragg is an ideal destination for both visitors and small businesses. Located in historic Mendocino County, it is the largest town on the scenic North Coast between San Francisco and Eureka. This growing, prosperous city offers a unique blend of natural resources, recreation, and scenery. This is just great, Mike, the last one is my favorite, I love piers and the POVs they give. I have lived in northern California for a very long time and have NEVER been to the Mendocino coast, can you believe that??? Think it's time!!
