This is another advet for a series that I would like to see called "Cleveland Police: Magical Crimes Unit" It is set in the world of "Dragons of the Cuyahoga" by S. Andrew Swann and follows the exploits of a police detective, his female partner, to whom he is engaged secretly (since it is a no-no for two officers to be involved while being assigned togather) and a smart Intelligent dragon name Bud. They attempt to solve mysteries and crimes related to the Newcomers, magical creatures who have recently come into our demnsion from their home seeking political refugee status in our universe. This is made possible by the sudden apperance of the Portal, a doorway from that other world that appeared six years ago in downtown Cleveland Ohio. It allows all of the thousands of creatures such as Dragons, Trolls and Gnomes, Unicorns Wizards, and other magic users to exist in our world, but only within a radius of 200 miles from the Portal.
