Description

Posting this so close to my last because I am going to be gone for a week on vacation. We leave tomorrow at 10:10am from Chicago and are taking a Hawaiian cruise. I am afraid to take vacations so this is our first ever 'real' vacation. It is to celebrate 25 years of marriage in 2008. Brian wanted to go before we got too old to see all the sights. We have many excursions planned but I'm looking forward to the treetop zipline. We are 80' to 100' off of the ground the whole time. Should be a hoot. Unfortunately, I got a cold from all the sick people around me at Christmastime. I kept washing my hands but I got sick anyway. I feel bad for the other people on the plane. Nine hours of me coughing on them :( Also, my nephew is in surgery, at this moment, to remove cancer from his second lung. Maybe you have a moment to send positive thoughts his way? I would not have planned my vacation if I had know Dan was ill again. I would like to be at the hospital with the family but I'm too ill to be around them. I hope you all have a fantastic week. Enjoy life! Nancy Credits: KenG crow, Dreampaint brambles

A truly wicked piece of work!!! I hope all goes well with your nephew, and you are right, you cannot be in there with a cold. That's the last thing he needs right now. So enjoy your vacation, I think you earned it.

Congratulations to you and Brian for 25 years of marriage. I hope you have a great time on your holidays. I'm sorry to hear about your nephew. I just wish I could send something more than just positive thoughts... Excellent POV and atmosphere. Great character, pose and expression. I'm sorry Nancy but, I wasn't going to say anything about his clothes. 8-) Take care!

Impressive and fantastic realization! Your nephew will be good and, in the meantime, you can be happy few days. Once again it will be better and will be with him. Happy holiday, my friend!

25 Years married... Congrats. My wife and I celebrated our 30th last year. We married young and beat the odds. That cold is going around here in So. California, too. Vacations are fine, flying is what I won't do, so Hawaii must happen by sea for me. Not likely soon. Hope your nephew recovers fully. My nephew needed a kidney transplant not too long ago. So, I know how it feels to see stuff like that. Your render reminds me of a computer game cover but I can't recall which. An oil painting PS filter application to it and it might look like something Frank Frezetta would paint.

Gee! Didn't realize that you'd taken a photograph of me this morning!!! Very clogged in the head--lightheaded, screwy balance, etc., etc. Not a happy camper! Great likeness though. Grin

Excellent image Nancy, Satan would be proud! (lol) Congrats on 25 years and have fun on vacation. My Wife and I made it to Maui for a week once.. fantastic place, wonderful water for scuba etc. Beautiful island and people. Take some allergy pills and vitamin C. You'll barely notice your illness. I made a zipline from treetop to tree bottom across several yards as a kid. Was very fun. Brother almost got killed on a 30' fall.. The grab stick broke and no safety features.. but was a big hit in our neighborhood after we corrected some minor design flaws...lol. Relax & have fun. Hugs from Dave :^)

Prayers coming your way for your nephew. Go enjoy your cruise. You will feel better for it. Hawaii was a dream come true for me. I loved every minute of it. Get feeling better and just enjoy the minutes you have together. This is very different from what you usually do. He's pretty creepy, but you did a great job on the character and the background with accompanying ravens. Excellent work. Bunny
