Description
The Earth is like a confection, a lolipop. You can only take sooooo much away before all you are left with is the stick.
Unfortunately, this is the only planet we have, and to the best of everyone's knowledge, we don't have a spare environment stored away in a closet somewhere.
Some people say that climate change doesn't exist, unless, of course, you happen to live in a place where it has a major impact. People will say that air, water and ground pollution doesn't have an effect, unless you live in a place where it does.
The Space Program is a flop... it's coming up to 40 years since the first moon landing (unless of course, you think that was faked) and we can barely get out of the atmosphere.
So, we are stuck here...... don't lick too hard, it's gotta last you!

i wish i DID know of some mystical and magical place where gumdrop people lived and they actually HAD global warming so that i WOULDNT BE FREEZING MY ASS OFF!!! lol, you said "even the nasty ones". lmfao also, ...i think we could live on the stick...even though sunsets might look a bit funny.... -chachi Ps- meant all in good fun. like said in my image post, dont litter, dont waste and just be sensible. no extreme measures need be taken.

Give the space program its due....getting out of the atmosphere, landing on the moon (not a hoax), exploring mars with the land rover, and all the other accomplishments over the years are hardly a flop. There have been major disasters and setbacks but these hardly diminish the fact that man has set foot on the moon and that our spacecraft have gone as far as the outer planets.

The pic hi-lights the isse very well, those that doubt it are living in denial. For me it's already too late, all measurements show it is advancing at an exponential rate and wil come to affect us sooner than we think!!

@FClittle: So that the exploitation can continue on another planet? How about changin´things here first? BTW: That works in foreign policy too, establish a democracy and human rights at home first, before tryin´it elsewhere.

I agree the Earth is getting a little sticky, take it easy on the licking or you may end up with a blue tongue and don't forget to wash your hands of all the disasters, like P.P. ! Great concept once more ! ~Cheers~

I was interested recently when I saw an imax documentary on the international space station (sponsered by Lockheed Martin of all things!) and one of the astronauts said "from up here we can't see any borders - just the Earth". If only we would listen.

Great stuff! Good discussion!! I think it's real simple, you never crap where you sleep or eat. The Earth is getting smaller everyday. Would you kiss your mom with that Earth tongue?
