A face of sorrow A face of scars A face of broken dreams A face of silent screams This is the face of grief A face no one wants to see. This is how my grief over the loss of my soul mate looks. The face I see in my widow's mirror sometimes. It isn't pretty and it feels awful, somehow inhuman. Or perhaps too human. But it's a part of who I am now. Guess we all have those faces that stare at us from the inside. Faces that scare us, faces that haunt us in the dark. Faces we don't want to show the world. Faces we don't want to see. CC
