Hello everybody here at Renderosity! It has been a while since I've been here, and I would like to start with wishing you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008!! Me and my girlfriend got ourselves a Nikon D40X Digital system camera right after Christmas, and we have been trying to understand it since Then. =) We also went up north during the new years eve, to a place called Lofsdalen, Härjedalen (approximately at the middle of Sweden), and I took some photos, and experimented while we where there. For you that don't know, we do not call it mountains here in Sweden, we have a special name for when the mountains have been "Scraped" during the ice age and made these flowing landscapes. We call it Fjäll. I tried to look it up but my dictionary called this Mountain or Fjeld. We have a word for mountain as well, which is "Berg". Anyway, this shot is taken at 07:44 in the morning of new years eve. The shutter was set to 30 sec, and I used ISO 400. The mountain is called Hovärken and has a hight of 1125 meters above sea at the top. It is on this mountain we have been snowboarding for four days.
