Always thought there were little people living inside a miniature radio station in my radio. I am a "Bits & Bytes" artist who deals in the fantasy world of computer and sees the world as populated by little people living inside radio boxes. Currently I am living in the one of the five boroughs of NYC. Computer generated images and virtual reality became an interest with me when I first saw them on TV and in movies. I must have brought a dozen or more VCR tapes to study them as I longed to create my own fantasy reality. When I got my first PC (A Tandy 1000 TX), I tried unsuccessfully to duplicate that feat with the rudimentary animation software and hardware of the time. Now it's easy to create even a small world (as in Virtual Reality) as shown on TV or in Sci Fi movies. Some of my creations are born out of a dream. I really enjoy seeing them come to life on a computer screen. I had done oil paintings and watercolors and has given them as gifts to close friends and family members, but I really preferred doing them on the computer. No messy clean up afterward. My taste in art can run the gamut from fantasy to almost real life.
And that's all I got to say about that! -- Forrest Grump

Quite a remarkable and imaginative render. detail work is awesome...shadows, lighting, domed cities in background. Only change I would suggest is a bit of a water stream underneath the covered bridge. Personally, I don't think it is amateurish at all. Very well done.

This is a great image, and I don't think it amateurish at all. Well worth sending in!! Love the spheres with the buildings inside, very different!! Very well done!!

Well the timber on the roof and decking has the grain running the wrong way. Needs to be rotated 90degrees. The horse has a great pose but needs work to make its coat look more like hair than plastic (try grabbing a texture from the freebies) Lose the plants at the edge of the decking and replace with a muddy track or tarmac road. It looks like you've textured some of the bridge uprights but ignored others and I agree with Photostar about the stream. You might also consider changing the bog-standard Bryce sky for something a lot more interesting. On the whole a very good effort with great design and composition. Please don't be put off by my suggestions, they are only that, suggestions.

I think this going in the right direction to convey your idea. I'd suggest the same tweaks as the above others have suggested. But, this is a great concept. Not "amatureish" at all.

Very interesting and well rendered image! I like the concept very much and I think its a great scifi work. I agree that a stream beneath the bridge would be good. Thanks so much for your visit and comment on Powwow Inspired, also for the reminder about Give Aways! And indeed its sad that everything has become so commercialized but I do think the 'gathering' is still important to native culture. Lynn
