Description

Note 1: a "Rancor" is a big scary monster that likes to eat people. Jabba the Hutt keeps one under his audience chamber. Note 2: Giolon was kind enough to host a hi-res version of this image over at www.RadiantCG.com. The Jabba texture doesn't hold up as well but otherwise I'd highly recommend it, there's a lot more detail to see. Note 3: Despite the caption that sounds like it was written by Jabba the Hutt's publicist, the intention here was to make an image where someone is REALLY laying into that fat cruel bastard, even if it means a drop in one's life expectancy. A diva twi'lek dancer seemed like a good choice for that. Note 4: Speaking of "New Employees", after much searching I've finally landed a job in the field for which I have been trained (law). As such, I don't know if I'll have time to come around as much anymore, but I'll try. I still have a week off before I start, and a few more ideas to try to render. If you've ever thought about making a request of me, now would be the time to make it. Jaba looks a bit stunned that someone had the nerve to tell him what-for! I'd say a mediator was called for, or at least a union steward. But I hear Rancor takes care of that as well, LOL! Love this one, it's well done, as is all of your stuff. Congrats on the job, but I gotta tell you, work really eats into Rendo time. Gonna miss seeing you around, hope you can find time to pop in now and again. Gone be going into withdrawal, LOL.

Congratulations to the new job, darlin'! Even if it's very time consuming, it's of utmost importance that you do what YOU want and if the job's good, then hey :o) It's always good to see new Star Wars works from you and Jabba and a Twi'lek is a classical one. Thanks for sharing it with us and good look on your new work!!!! Take care, ~Sassy~

wonderful! Love the idea of Hutt "labor relations" and the genius of "retirement by rancor". Its also nice to see an image where the sightlines are inside the image. %90 of the Poser-stuff here has a figure (usually Vicky) just kinda staring out with dead eyes. This one has a fascinating little "inter-personal" or "inter-whatever" visual dynamic. Great stuff. The Hutt does need a higher resolution texture. Why not make one? Some mixture of something scabby and, say, elephant hide would go well

Twi´lek- "You become fat, no more froggs to dinner!" Jabba says-" Take one steep closer!" Okey bad joke!
