Description

That face was just begging to be photographed. I didn't really do that much to this picture. I generated an HDR file from 9 exposures, converted it to black and white, then added in a non-HDR layer for the landscape in the background. The picture was taken with a Nikon D200, the HDR was generated with the new Photomatix beta, and the finishing touches were done in Photoshop CS3 This photograph was taken in the Marin Headlands, in California

If that landscape was really behind the door this is an amazing find, but if not then still a nice addition of contrasting subjects in postwork. Nicely done :)
