Description

My first chance to play with Carrara 6 Pro. Well I am no Pro, and as usual I did not read the 600 page manual. I am not real happy with the result. I figured out how to import poser figures, but not whole scenes when I do only the background gets imported. I got 5 to import with a work arround, but should not need it with 6. Maybe someone will take pity on me and tell me, or maybe I will be forced to read the manual< but life is so short.

Excellent perspective and color here. The ship looks good in that environment and the lens flare is a nice touch. Well done! Steve :o)

don't feel bad, I started in poser6 because I felt it would take forever to read maya7... a year later, I still haven't read either one - lol... I really like the picture, the air looks like waves and the water looks more like the clouds. I was trying to picture what it would look like if you flipped the water/air - cool picture, enjoyed it.

Manuals? What's a manual...lol Trial and error is my learning technique and should save the pain and read the manuals I guess. Excellent first creation. Love that light on the rear of the ship and shadow. Great perspective. Good luck with Carrara and look forward to more...

I read a few poser manuals, and nowhere did they tell me how to get decent lights...it was just trial and error! Its a slow process but when it happens....what a feeling of achievement. Stick at it!
