Coming from California I never quite got the 'driving' ON the beach thing..but lovely shot.......

I knew someone who drove his car on the beach, got caught in the tide and that was that for his car!! Great shot, though, take care of that new toy!!

Just a note; researching the purchase for a used Miata I repeatedly encountered the idea that the people who originally purchase them do indeed regard them as "toys" and on the used market can thusly be found with very low mileage at very good prices. About the image I'm from Houston, Texas originally and when I was young in the 60's & 70's you could indeed drive right down to the water in places like Galveston which is now becoming rare. You'd sleep overnight in your car or just outside on the sand, waking up covered with it. Looking at this picture I can feel that breeze and smell that saltwater. Thanks for the memory.
