Description
We all have someone we've lost... be it through choices made in life or something as incomprehensible as murder. I have Tommy, who was stolen from me in an instant by a bullet, 13 years ago. At times, it feels like just yesterday. My life... I ... have never been the same. The words I never got to say haunt me every day. Maybe one day, I'll figure out a way to let go... to find peace. Until then, I can only hope with all my heart that, somehow, he hears all the words unspoken.
I miss you... every single day.

(deep breath) whew...what a terrible burden you are carrying. So sorry to hear about this tragedy. Your image reflects your on going pain and in it's way it is a beautiful one. I could tell you it was time to heal completely, but that is not place. I can however, give you a suggestion. WRITE. Write every feeling down. Keep writing until you are so tired of writing you never want to see a keyboard again. Once you say the words, feel the words and emotions you will heal. Your friends can listen, cry with you and give support, but Brandi, this is something only you can do. :o)

Very melancholy and somber image, reflecting your emotions and silent remorse. Sometimes words are meaningless and all we have left is the internal anguish of lost loves. Those that have past before us would not want the living to suffer their memory or loss, but to remember that they lived and once smiled as sunshine upon our lives.
