Description

Just got back from a 15 day trip to India, and I felt like I needed to use some of the thousands of pictures I took, so I attempted my first "straight-up" matte painting. Everyone was either in the shot (taken with a Canon 1DmkII), or added in Photoshop. I've got a long way to go, but as a novice attempt, I was quite pleased with this.

You did a pretty good job as a novice. There is something not quite right with the perspective of the pink building on the left and it will look better when you soften the contours of the buildings against the sky. But on the whole you did very well and you deserve more appreciation than you got.
