Description

Today's image is dedicated to shahlaa who has suffered a double loss recently. This one's for you Marlene. Today's upload was a real challenge for me. One of my failings in Bryce is that I can never seem to produce any decent terrain work. However, as my wife (debz) has been producing some excellent one's recently and also inspired by Keith's work (photostar) I decided I'd give it another try. This one took me literally hours and hours to complete, which goes to show the problems I have. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it and any comments are welcome. Tony :-) I also have free stuff here on Renderosity if you fancy a look.

Tony, this is wonderful...glad you decided to upload it. I see a good composition, depth and lighting. And I especially like your color choice with the lighting. More, please.

You certainly can't tell you had problems with this one Tony...great image! Terrains are a tough nut to crack, the main thing I find is to make sure your scale in the texture suits the size of your terrain in the image itself...that and the size of resolution of the terrain for it's location in the scene.Well done!

I share your feeling towards terrain work my friend. Recreating true nature is no easy task, even in Bryce. You've done an amazing job in this image that's for sure Tony! Muis
