Away.
Winter seeps under Doorjamb and 'round window casings.
No thievery here.
Freezing dreams cast like spells.
Caught.
Wonderland of frost.
Dreamsicles glistening in incandescent light.
Wrapped in the warmth of your down, I stir.
Awaken.
Another princess of the Dawn.
/if only the heater worked/
/your beating heart and warm body were missed/
/these numb toes wistfully recall summer/
