Description

I think this is the last of the Deer Grove series, at least for this winter. [I have a couple dozen more, but they start to get cold after awhile.] I hope you all have enjoyed this series and can now look forward to a new season. With the help from the folks at the Forum we tracked down the cause of the green and magenta coloring. [http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=12379&Form.ShowMessage=629152] From newsgroup posts it seems this is a common problem with the old Nikon LS-1000 scanner and dense (like snow) negatives. Maybe I'll ignore it. Try to compensate in PShop (as I tried here). Get a different scanner. Or finally go digital camera. Haven't decided yet.
