The bridge into to Candyland. It was actually commissioned by a veteran of Pearl Harbor, to commemorate the link between Florida and the people of Japan. The distracted photographer, I am always playing catch up with the rest of the family. You may notice (especially if you view this full size) that some areas of the vegetation have more color than others, even on the same type of plant. I honestly cannot explain that. There simply is no color data for those sections in the digital file. I'd like to dedicate this photo to my hard working wife Lisa. She is always there to keep things going on the home front and beyond that has to try to find time to work on her freelance career. It is not easy. I think this image is a good allegory for her situation. Always crossing new bridges, not know what is coming over the next rise, always pushing ... and always chasing after the kids. It is a thankless job and I just wanted to let her know how much I appreciate her and believe in our family and in her career.
