Description

Simon is my newest character concept for a D&D campaign I am playing in. This was a basic lighting test. I am forging into new areas here. Comments are welcome and appreciated!

Add a (dark blue/purpletoned) light low on the picture's left side, to add a 'backlighting' effect. This will help delineate the man's left side, and increase the look of 'drama'. Keep it dark, but just enough to differentiate. It will tie into the blue light from the window as well. (For a posing tip: try to flatten his (empty) hand more against the wall (rotate the lower arm inward slightly). You may also want to try flattening his back against the wall also...with slightly bent legs, it should look like he is a bit more 'on guard' coming around the corner.) Hope this helps you!

As Rosemaryr said. you may also want to play with camera angles, this will allow you to see how your light is hitting the target.
