I've been a 3d "hobby artist" on and off since sometime around 2000 or so. I've never stuck with it long enough to get good or to learn any advanced techniques, but when I do "play around" I have fun.
I also started messing around with vector drawing, as I can't really draw. Using vector allows me to utilize shape deformation and tweaking to create my scenes.
As of right now, July 2018, I'm working hard toward a goal I've had for a decade plus, and that is to make physical card, dice and board games for adults as well as animations and some simple video games. To that end, I'm developing my own characters in vector. The style is simplistic but I believe it will be really good once I have several items completed.

Your scene is a litle bit too dark. You might also try getting a shot from another angle to show off more of the figures. Especially the one on the couch. Nice job nonetheless.

hummm.I have been having such a problem with dark and light. I have one monitor that everything made with it, appears fine to me but comes out far too light (almost white washed). Now I have a new monitor, and everything seems fine to me, but is to dark to others. sigh. One the machine I rendered this with, the image is clear. You can even see the far wall and the painting on it. Thanks for the comment flashone.

It's not your monitor,It's other people video cards they need to at lease adjust there monitor......The pic is perfect,I can see the pic that is hanging in the background and also the furniture perfect,I can see the detail on the action figs,The is a very cool pic....The light and dark thing many times all it needs is adjustment of monitors
