No, no, the stranger is ‘ccupied for the time being, I won’t lose a customer, ye know me better than that. He thinks I’m draining some of that mead he’s been so freely buying me. Yes, yes Sallion it has been a lot, but ye know I have large capacity fer mead. ‘nd stop needling me, tis just the two of us here, yer don’t have to keep the pretense up now. Hmmm. Yer did not seem ter think it was a pretense last night, now did yer lassy? Oooo, ye be a cheeky one sometimes, beautiful, but cheeky. Now listen to me, there be something not quite right ‘bout this stranger. Seems ter know nuttin ‘bout nuttin, like he had never lived in Mernac. ‘sides, there be sumptin unsettling ‘bout that one, seems familiar to me but says we never met b‘fore. I need yer ter find out more ‘bout that one. What yer mean how? How do yer ever find out more ‘bout someone. Don’t be coy with me lassie, we been knowing each other far too long for that. Yes Sallion, the other night meant sumptin to me, just like all the other occasional nights we roll in the same hay, but yer know what ye is and so do I. Use what the Mothers blessed yer with and do me this favor. The stranger seems ter have taken quite a shining ter you, don’t ye know. Eye’s follin' that lovely arse of yours every time ye walk by. Just bat ‘em long lashes of yers at him…. ‘nd bend over a bit more when ye deliver the mead. Them creamy white mounds will like as not drive the stranger half mad. Know it does most folk. Well, the stranger may not be yer ‘favorite’ type, but ye will notice ye used the word favorite. Yer like all types, we both know that. Like I said, ye know what you are ‘nd so do I. Do this fer me Sallion. Thankye. Now off with yr, I need to get back to the table. The Rest of the Story
