Description

Nature abstracted.This was a personal challenge to create an abstract image of nature,a subject I've painted for many years.I wanted to try to create an image that was recognizable but not highly detailed,and to use bryce to try to create almost a watercolour quality instead of the more harsher realism commonly associated with the program.Hopefully I've succeeded. The reeds were created in the lattice terrain editor,grouped and rendered in a modified terrain preset with little bump.The group was duplicated and rendered again in a glass material,giving the effect of being coated in ice.To complete the wintery look,I chose a tri-colour sky from Tse60 and kicked up the fog in the scene to soften it overall...and there we are.Aquatic reeds coated with ice on a cold winter day with a warm morning light.Hope you like it,and thanks for viewing-Neil.

Your description of the render is awesome. The render itself, is a highly creative work of artistic expression. Would make a grand poster in a collection of four...each with its seasonal notation somewhere near the bottom area. I love this one and into my favs.
