Description

This picture is total Bryce4. I modeled the lighthouse Completely in Bryce4. Upon close inspection, one would find this to be a very detailed lighthouse.

Nice, but I would decrease the gamma a bit and also change the boat and pier textures to simulate more of a real wood look. You might want to rotate the lighthouse as it appears a bit flat or 2D and lastly a beacon would add a nice finished touch. You're on the right track to a very good image.

Great pic. Two of my favorite subjects... Lighthouses and Landscapes. Did you do a Cylinder/Torus boolean for the tower, or a cone? I've tried cones, but haven't really been happy with it. The only thing that detracts from this otherwise great image is the texturing on the foreground. Check out a great lowtide tutorial at: http://easyweb.easynet.co.uk/~jba/galcode/Lowtidetut1.html I used this in my "Sunset on the Beach" picture, and it works great. Keep submitting!
