Description

This character is also created using polymodeling method. I was taking 3dBuzz VTM course of 3D Studio Max, very much alike alien was modeled during Character modeling session so I thought to stick with video and do my modeling. Then I test and practiced my rigg skills on him after completed Michelle Busche quite good book "Character modeling and Rigging for Animation with 3DS Max 7". I added some cloth and that also was for self training purposes, learned to do some simulations and that stuff. And there he goes! This is final render, actually one shot from short animation (probably soon could be seen in animation section) So, this is my first created character that I rigged Problems for future - I don't know how to make guitar belt correctly so it moves softly and relative to guitar movements

The model is original and well done and the body rigging is good! 5+++++ for this interesting work-in-progress, but I want to see it with the textures and a cool background... for the moment: Bravo!

Actually, if we can call it a texture, this alien does carry one on him. I used Mental Ray Skin material on him. About background - well, for animation, which is experimental, and on which I am working now, no background was planed since I only wanted to test and work with rig stuff and some Mental Ray test, to not slow down computer too much. But yes - for picture background could be nice attachment. But still - thanks. It is really nice to get any of cheers for your work (although 5++++ to me seems a liiiiiitle bit too much, but thanks)
