Judging from the small amount of craters on the planetoid it must be very young. I have no idea what the rather indistinct light in the distance might be, possibly a newly forming star, but I doubt it. Perhaps the last vestiges of a supernova. In that case the planetoid would have to be a newly arrived visitor or it would have been destroyed in the explosion.

Indeed a wonderful sight! Brings fourth such great radiance and a remarkable glow! I love the shadows and the lighting especially.... and I think your title is most perfect :) Not Outer Space, but an "Other Space"..... I wish I could marvel in this space and just absorb the warmth and the absolutely glorious energy these forms seem to offer!
