Excellent picture. How did you get so close? You can see inside the back of its head in zoom mode, and I still say it has a stone face on its back! Like a lion in a swimming cap... lol ... :) Todd You know there might have been something wrong with mushrooms I had on my sandwich this morning?

Terrific POV, clarity, colors and textures in this macro, Melinda, but I can't reconcile the image of a purple dragonfly. It is beyond my ken. I always thought they were green or ecru...something like that. But purple? In any event, love the delicate vein work in the wings!
