Everything about this speaks to me in so many different ways. The way the lighting creates a quiet feeling and the emotion and expression are just captivating. It is as if I am intruding on a very private moment. I could go on, but let me stop here and just say that this is my favorite of yours... this IS beautiful

Oh my angel.... I am really not sure what to say here. The power and emotion have hit me to the bone and stripped me raw, like John said, I feel like I am intruding upon a moment that is not mine to witness. It is heartbreaking and tender, the lighting only emphisizes what is being whispers through the characters expressions. I am truely at awe of the work you have done here, bravo!

I doubt I could express with any greater clarity what dglidden has so perfectly stated about this image. It is such a heart-wrenching thing that our emotions have all been taken to the place this touching and exquisitely rendered image portrays. There's an old 'cliche' that says "You always hurt the one you love", and another that very simply says, "Love Hurts". You have captured a moment in time when it has become all too apparent that this couple has indeed been hurt. I am so thankful that the reason for the tears of despair are not fully explained, and instead, are left to the viewer's imagination - although the title itself - certainly hints as to the subject being experienced. Your renders ALWAYS move our emotions in a way seldom provoked by others. Your heart has obviously 'been there, done that', for such insight does not originate from inexperience. A beautiful, touching and provocative piece of artwork Jen.
