In fact I'm a few hours too late, Kristina's birthday was yesterday. But when she had her party we drank a beer to her in our favorite pub (just one beer... or so) and came home four hours later. So I had to finish this render when in fact the birthday was already over... But hey, it's YOUR birthday and it started on a Friday! If you want it, you can have birthday the whole weekend long!
This wonderful dynamic gown is a WIP by tabala, as well as the shawl. I squeezed and twisted and tested it yesterday and today I wanted to make a real, official artistic render with it.
The Babelsberg Filmstudios was the first big movie studio in the world and Babelsberg the biggest district of the town where tabala lives. In 1930 the famous director Josef von Sternberg made the movie "Der blaue Engel", "The blue angel", the movie that made Marlene Dietrich a star.
As Kristina made her new gowns and shawls with a close look to the early 30s I thought that the title fits the image well.

That dress drapes and hangs just like real fabric, including the shine and the oh-so-beautiful color! Tabala is an master of the cloth room indeed--and you have made a beautiful render with it. I hope she is having a long birthday weekend but perhaps with chocolate instead of beer;-)
