Description

a very good morning to you all :o).. seeing as though a few of you mentioned fishing i thought i would oblige :o)..the river was industrial but now we have`nt much left in terms of industry .it seems the way forward is now to flatten and rebuild fancy riverside appartments that nobody can really afford .the river itself is alive once more teaming with fish ,i know because when i was match fishing up untill a few years ago i had some great catches and won a few matches with in excess of 20lb of fish :o)..wildlife is a plenty, birds, voles and even a sighting of an otter further down stream. have a fantastic weekend my friends and thanks as always for looking mick

Great relaxing shot Mick. Nice to hear that the wildlife and the fish are thriving, when we areout walking by the canal we often pass what looks like competition fishing so we try to pass quietly. Never took up fishing myself.

Mick, this image is beautiful! You have captured such a bountiful and plentiful scene of nature.... the water glimmers, and looks so peaceful......... seems like the most perfect time for fishing. I think for me, just the serenity of being there would triumph over whether or not I caught any fish at all! :) A lovely, calming mood and atmosphere........

That could have been me twenty years ago Mick, I could sit on the bank from dawn till dusk, not catch a fish and still go home happy. Sitting on the bank unwinding was the main thing at that time of my life. Not done much in the line of match fishing but have won a couple at odd times. Nice to hear the wild life is returning. Excellent capture and even though he is standing there is still a sense of peace and relaxation about it, even solitude. Bravo!!!!! 5+++

with former industrial being there it is a prime location for pollution and of course building apartments makes since so more people may get ill.your capture is outstanding and very inviting to fish
