Description
I'm still trying the master the tree lab and managed to create this one yesterday. This image must be about version 27 because I struggled to get the lighting and shadows right after a friend saw the original on my web-site and offered some helpful comments (you know who you are).
The old arch was modelled by myself with Bryce primitives. By comparison with the lighting, the old arch was the easy bit.
Any comments and critiques welcome.

Certainly turned out extremely. Tree lab is being very kind to you, I must say. Actually, the construction of the arch structure would have been the most difficult thing for me. You have great luck with constructing objects. And, your foliage is perfect....creates a nice framed view.

This turned out really well, my friend. I hope you don't mind some positive criticism here, and my idea kind of defeats the purpose of the tree lab in the first place, but I wonder what it might look like if the trees were actually blurred a bit. Give more emphasis to the water and the arches. I could just be blowing smoke. Lol. (Just me thinking out loud). ;)

Well done Tony, you are tackling the tree lab very well as far as I can see! Good depth in this image, and the sense of scale of the arch is believeable...good render!

This actually reminds me of the arches on the Malecon in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, where I spend a lot of time. It's a beautiful image, and in a world very new to me!!
