Description

This is another close up render of the corner house in Kampar West Lake RT1. The house, fence, gate objects and majority of the items are modeled in Maya. It was then imported into Max for rendering. Thanks to Javen & Vara of emagelabs.virtual.studio for all the trees and shrubs. Hope you all like it. Thanks for talking a look ;)

Nice work although most people create in Max then render in Maya or just work in Maya. Why did you do it that way? Maya is a more powerful rendering software, no?

I begin wondering with modeling in maya a few years ago and found it is quite easy and fast to learn. Max is a total stranger to me during that time. It is not as easy for me to self teach. Maya has powerful illuminate labs renderer that can produce fast and better result. I prefer to render the scene in Max because I have difficulty self teaching myself in shader tree of Maya. Max material editors some how clicks with me. Well, nothing is easy ;)

Superb, I'm glad you agreed and this is magnificent, as before possibly more so it looks so real, the lighting is fantastic and I have never added an update to my favs but this deserves it.
