Description

All models (except the dartboard and darts) created by me in Hexagon2. The detail in the table can not really be seen in low res images like this one. The tassle is actually modeled (not just a texture) and the pool cue windings are also modeled. This file will not render with global illum due to the reflectivity of the window and the glow of the light fixture...too bad. I still have some more detail to add to the tables (salt shakers, ash trays) and some other things to add to the floor and walls. comments welcome. BT

Brilliant!! Great modelling and comp, Right down to the C. M. Coolidge painting. (possibly found next to every pool table) Two crits though, Dart board seems a bit low and maybe more shadow on the floor?

Nice work, it could use a little more shadow details under the table, the top and legs; this would give the floor a greater Depth of Field I do believe.

Great picture, I think you can compensate the reflectivity and glow issues of the window and light with enhancement to the shaders, and render with GI. One of the main issues is to not put any color in the color channel, but in the transparancy. If the total of values is not above 100 (so no more light is emited than is received), glass goes allright with GI.
