Description

On Beinn Narnain, Argyll, this morning. Winter conditions in Scotland today were among the best I've seen in the last decade. Deep crunchy snow, high pressure and crystal clear air led to a real visual treat, (on a Saturday too) It was one of these days that I'll remember for years to come. Beinn Narnain is hard hard work though, 3000 odd feet from sea level....straight up, passing crags, bluffs and ice smeared gullies, the angle of accent is brutal and relentless, there is false top after false top, but the rewards today were outstanding with the views of Argyll, out to Mull and up to Ben Nevis, Scotland was strutting its stuff good style. Thanks for viewing and have a good weekend.

I am so full of envy, thanks for sharing the view. The problem for me is that I get great views from the plane but I cant afford to stay and enjoy it for long, just as well that like you I love to take the cameras.

WOW, what an image. If you would have titled this image 'On top of the World' and told us it is either in the Artic, or in the interior of the Antartic, there wouldn't be many people that would have questioned you. I know I wouldn't have. Another excellent example of the Highlands, Sig...
