Description

Thanks to all that clicked, commented and made my previous images a favorite. This is greatly appreciated. Well, last night went pretty well considering we had 22 patients, had to call three people in, elevated temps, 2 transfers out, a new admit from Iraq, and one in from surgery. Henry31, I love being in the Army, I just don't like nursing. I have 3 years and 2 months until I retire, and then I get to do whatever I want. Whatever type of nursing, while I go back to school, lay around and be a bum, open a used book store. The world is my oyster. (It's that how the saying goes?) Burned patients are one of the hardest type of patients to work with. And with about over half of our patients being burned 35% or more, it is a really hard job. I guess I propably shouldn't be talking to much about it all. On top of all that, they put me on call, so I wasn't able to go to Houston. Well, this I made when I got home this morning. I feel like my creative juices had dried up. I don't know if it's from not having the time during the last couple weeks, or just dried up for good. Here is my attempt at UF again. It doesn't look like the creative juices have dried up too much. This is a gorgeous piece with beautiful details. You have a very high stress job and it takes a while to get back in the swing and deal with all the "bad stuff". At least there is light at the end of the tunnel. I've been where you are in a high stress job and leaving to make a new life after I completed my job. Just keep on keeping on. :o) Bunny

Awwww, hon, you creativity hasn't totally gone away, just needs an itty bit of time to fully come back, you've been under so much stress. This is a pretty piece, and I love the flowery orbs in the center spiral! Just try not to stress too much, though I've no doubt that it's very hard to keep your cool sometimes; and we're all here for you, sending hugs over the miles! hugs, hugs, and more hugs
