My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

This is too funny - I have some giant carrot fotos that would go along with these very nicely!!! If someone else has a few potatoes, we can make soup!!!

Humungous onions are a tribute to excellent soil. These are just delicious looking. I have heavy soil and usually stick with green onions and garlic. This is a very well done photo with good pov and lighting.

Massive onions, its a great shot, I love onions too, couldn't eat them raw like bangonthedrums' dad does lol. What satisfaction to grow your own produce and with results like this.

Great composition! I'd say they are big!

Beautiful onions! And great post work. Makes them look almost watercolour. I tried to grow onions last year, that were said to become humongous, but they turned out pretty average.. Well, soon a new season, and I will flood this place with everything that sprouts. We have a saying: Drop the onion! Meaning, drop the subject. So I will, Right now. Great shot!

I used to work with a chap on the motorways that used to eat big onions like these, a bite at the onion and a bite at the block of cheese, twice a week he used to do this for his lunch. Chopped up big chunks and fried with prawns covered in curry sauce! YUM YUM! They look massive without a comparison scale Tara. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!
