Description

I did this drawing many, many years ago. I had this image in my mind and I transfered it to paper without even sketching it out first. Total time to complete this picture - 40 minutes!

If done without the preliminaries, were YOU "winging" it (sorry, joking in my usual awful fashion). Simple, effective and with a slight conundrum (where is the other leg?). I took a copy into Painter to try out other colours and a light blue for the body is very effective, though I quite like your colour scheme - but computers do enable us to play with such ideas. Mind you I moved all the colours across the spectrum to keep the original balance but it would have been easy to discriminate and so extend the colour contrasts (I'm probably talking nonsense, but revisiting a work enables the opening of possibilities).
