Description
This is the more usual colour of primulas, I think, this and the really deep blue, but I don't remember them being quite as frilly as this.

PS. I have no clue why the leaves are blue, since I did nothing that was either clever or experimental as in post-work !

I have seen this blue in low light or shadow. Mostly in the morning hours but it is a natural look. Very beautiful blooms and great shot.

Love those primulas! Actually love at first sight, because up to a few days ago, I never knew the species even existed. Terrific POV employed in this shot, splendid with the yellow color, clarity and textural effects of it all. The petals remind me of those pleated wax cupcake holders.
