Description
I've been playing in Vue, painting terrain tonight and it's lotsa fun :D Really gives the illusion of a blank canvas :)
What inspired this render is a couple of artists from my native country, Sweden. They lives together and they are running this big gallery/art school thing from home. And "home" is an old big school in the middle of nowhere that they restored and really made their own.
The garden is a big mix of groomed areas and parts that looks as if no one touched it since the Stoneage :p And that is where this subject come from.
Behind one of the workshops they have on the grounds there's an area that is covered in wild flowers and grass in the summer time. There's an old table, similar to the one in this render, and they use it to pot plants and other things that will leave a bit of dirt behind.
It's beautiful in it's own way since it's been left untouched, and I honestly didn't think they would leave it that way. Other areas are so perfect it's almost silly ;)
Anyways...I will paint more terrains, that's for sure. The flowers in this render are freebies, some from ShareCG and others from Turbo Squid. The big trees I tweaked in the editor in Vue with the white birch as a base.
I'm glad that you enjoyed my little church render yesterday :D I still haven't found that darn horse, but I'm sure he'll show up when he gets hungry :p
