Description

background and base for the skel and fae are apo, the skel is from Vvolfsong's freebie pack "Dem Bones", and the goth fae is a gift from Bellonna (thanks Beck!) who I think, has her packages at cgodyssey.com. Can I say that here? There's those days when you feel like rummaging around the attic, and just seeing what all is up there! Sometimes, you find stuff that's fallen between the boards, or stuck between rafters from previous owners. Found a box, and was a bit taken aback when I opened it and saw this rather strange litte music box! The music part still worked, and I recognized the melody, stranger still it even played the words .. ! It was an old tune, "Cry Little Sister", one that was done by Sisters of Mercy a long time ago. Sort of odd for a music box, I thought, as were the figures. This certainly isn't your usual pink ruffles and lace with a ballerina on top music box! Wonder who owned this strange little thing? Thank you all so much for coming by to look at the previous post, and to leave your comments, even though I am SO far behind with my viewing it's embarrasing! I love reading the comments you all leave, they mean a lot to me and give me such a lift! And thank a big thank you to those who faved it!

Nice image. Brings to mind Corpse Bride, which I enjoyed, I guess just because of teh living and dead dancing together. very original piece of art.

If you're buy the house with the attic, you should be able to get ahold of the previous owner... but, then again maybe your house is old and not too many people check out attics. great picture to your findings.

The poor girl having to dance with a skeleton, she needs to do some on line dating!!!!!! Jokes aside this is a great little music box and the figures just give it an added dimension. Super work and very creative.
