Description
It's with deep sadness that I have to say Sophia has passed away.
She lived a long and happy life, 18 1/2 years, she touched many people
with her gentle soul & incredible personality. She will be missed by all
of us who came to love her. Sophia will go down as a legend, for a cat who's
loyalty was unmeasured, and a heart as pure as gold... I have several photos
of her in my gallery and I'm glad she even got to meet folks around the world
right here @ RR... Please help me in sending her off with fond memories...
A big thank you to Gunsan for doing a couple of paintings of her too!!!!

This is the saddest news of all, to loose a wonderful friend! I'm so sorry that Sophia has passed away! Everyone who has lost a pet can relate to this pain. Sophia was a beautiful cat, hold onto all the great memories, they will comfort you... my heart goes out to you and Sophia's friends!!!!!!

Oh dear...I am so sorry. I know how it feels to lose a loved cat friend after so many years. I am sure Sophia has a spot of her own in your heart forever. Be sure she feels good now! Have to tell yo about my friend, who lost he loved collie the day before Christmas. her name was Gry. A few nights later she woke up hearing the guitar in he corner playing two tones several times. She went up to look at children and pets, but all were asleep. She went back to bed and after a while she felt someone buffing her, just he way Gry did. Then she got a message. Gry told her to find an old CD that the children loved 4-5 years before, she also got the track number she should put on. My friend went up, dressed and went out to the car where the old CD was, went in and played the track she had been told. Guess what! It was a song that just on and on repeated the words: I am so happy, happy, happy, I amd so glad because I am so content and so on. She felt such a love filling the room, knwing the Gry, who was so old that her legs could not bear her weight any longer, was so happy where she was now. So dear...just think of that Sophia's beautiful green eyes is sparkling with new life in another dimension.

Such a gentle face. She had a nurturing personality, didn't she? And it would seem she gave as much as she received. How sad it is she is gone and I imagine she leaves a tender emptiness in everyone she touched in her 18 years.

She looks a lot like our cat, Smokey, who died several years ago at the age of 16 1/2. Sadness at losing a long-time companion is to be expected, but what more can you ask for in this world than a long & happy life? All things must pass...

Ohh I'm sorry to hear that. One of my cats is coming up 19 and I know everyday we have him now is a blessing. Sophia I am sure is happy in her new world and knows how much she was loved.

I am very sorry to hear of your pet's passing. We had to put our beloved dog Elsa to sleep the week before Christmas this year, so I know how painful it can be to let them go. Sophia looks like a beautiful, happy and gentle cat and your picture of her is a lovely tribute.
