Description

Another shot from Ann's garden, taken last summer. This is a bachelor button (aka cornflower, aka centaurea cyanus). The sun was out today for a little while (!) and I actually got to go for a walk around my neighborhood and take some pictures! Yay! I haven't had a chance to look at them yet. Hopefully there's something good there!

Wow, you had sun, too!! It was warm enough for about 2 hours for me to keep changing my clothes; ended up with just tank top and a blouse. Then the fog came in and back on went the other layers!! Love the color on this one, just enough to give it that delicate look!!

Well your title brought a smile to my face Tara, many years ago I used to be on the CB radio and one of my wind-up handles was powder puff, I used to go on with a bit of a camp voice and wind people up. I always owned up in the end though. Excellent capture and I just love those pastel shades. Bravo!!!!!

A beautiful shot! I love bachelor buttons. We used to grow them at our first house. I should make room for them, somewhere, in the garden.

Yes usually just see them in blue, this is a lovely soft pink. We had partly blue skies but alas the sun was still hidden behind those pesky clouds. Now today back to rain:(
