Description
I have found a few old photos taken in 1983.
Even among all this woodland beauty, evidence of man's presence.
I had to take this one - the incongruity of the dumped wheel amidst the surrounding tranquillity was such a striking contrast.
At least, I thought so at the time. :-)

The wheel that turns no more. What I like about this scene is wheel almost gives the impression of arms stretched back behind a head, relaxing in the shaded wood after a morning of hot scorching tarmac. Very nice.

Beautiful woods, nice settings are sometimes always marred a bit by man, but the lone tire makes me wonder where the rest of the vehicle is, maybe the woods have it, excellent capture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
