There are too many shots of people's eyes out there, but it never ceases to amaze me how well you can take a shot that should come across as cliched and trite and not only make it your own, but make it ridiculously awesome. Kudos.

The fact that this is black and white makes it all the more stunning - normally eye shots tend to be colour fantasies but this is just plain and (not-so-)simple - and still grabs the eye (pun not actually intended there, i couldnt think of another expression)! What lens/aperture were you using btw? (been wanting to revisit this kind of shot)
