Created using slightly different method.
Rendered in VRay with Render Elements for different channels (RGB, ZDepth, GI and Atmosphere)
Final composing, DOF, color correction and ageing done in Photoshop.

It conveys the cold and grim atmosphere very well indeed. Perhaps in the spring or summer, you could recreate it with green leaves and a bright sky.
