Description

Thanks for the recent comments folks!!....I'm trying to get my head around ZBrush at the moment and it's taking up a lot of my time... Meanwhile a tut on photo-manipulation in a magazine caught my eye and I decided to give it a go on a MJW render...this is what I came up with.... Rons fog brushes used for extra cloud....all postwork done in Photoshop. TFV.

Now come on Jeff, you just can't dangle this tempting carrot without sharing the technique - can you? BTW - 'tis a stunner.

It looks way better than the Flatiron building in NYC.

Very cool looking structure and nice fog painting. However, this image belongs more to the Mixed Medium gallery, IMO.

Thanks for the comments folks...much appreciated! Slav...I agree that this could be a mixed medium...but it could also be classed as a MJW render with a little (okay a lot...^^) of postwork...What can I say?...I was missing the Mojo gallery...so any excuse to post here again...^^. Azrabella....Cheers man!....see below for technique. Woz......The buildings are made from four photographs of mainly glass fronted buildings....all chopped up,resized, warped etc in Photoshop CS2...the light & shadow was mainly done by hand with the burn tool....color adjustment on all the building layers to blend them together.
