Description

This is the same scene as in my last post, Thorne/Sarsa's Rachel for V4 with Anime hair. The render settings have been upped: Full indirect lighting instead of ambient occlusion. Caustics on. 10% subsurface scattering and bump on the skin added also. Yes she is still in shadow. The render contained a few odd shadow artifacts so I re-rendered and I reckon its a lot better now. I will say this, the more I learn about Carrara's rendering abilities the more I am convince - this prog rocks!

You've got it working for you. Trying to get out the last little dirty spot of shadow is a major undertaking.

Her skin-texture is outstanding! Have you used a bump-map on her? Sorry that I'm so curious, I'm just beginning to work with Carrara and love to learn as much as I can and your work has impressed me deeply! I'm sure you'll find a way to get rid of these artifacts (do you mean her eyes too?) ~Sassy~

Carrara produces beautiful results with the right settings. Unfortunately I know squat about using it, I have it but I've been knee-deep in Studio ^^ But I've seen what Carrara can do and its awesome ^^ And the pose is perfect!
